CGKP is accountable to its funders through the Supervisory Board, chaired by Professor Sir Brian Heap. The Supervisory Board ensures that the strategic direction of CGKP is consistent with its aims and objectives, approves and monitors delivery of the work programme and oversees financial management.

An Executive Board, chaired by Professor Richard Himsworth, supports the management team in operational matters.
Local stakeholders are able to contribute to setting the agenda and work programme of the CGKP through the Advisory Panel, chaired by Professor Sir Brian Heap.
